This Act received the President’s assent on December 25, 2023, and applies to all judicial proceedings, including courts-martial. The Act introduces provisions for digital and electronic evidence, reflecting the evolving nature of evidence in the digital age. It also includes detailed sections on the relevancy of facts, burden of proof, oral and documentary evidence, and the examination of witnesses.
