Indian Penal Code (IPC): The original criminal code of India, enacted in 1860, which has now been largely replaced by the BNS 202314.

Hindu Marriage Act, 1955: Governs marriage, divorce, and related issues among Hindus, including Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs.
