375. All courts of civil, criminal and revenue jurisdiction, all authorities and all officers, judicial, executive and ministerial, throughout the territory of India, shall continue to exercise their respective functions subject to the provisions of this Constitution.

- They shall continue to perform their functions as before
- But now, they must act subject to the provisions of the Constitution of India

✅ To ensure administrative and judicial continuity during the transition from British rule to the Republic of India
✅ To avoid a legal or institutional vacuum at the time of Constitution’s commencement
